During my work in the Fashion Industry, I have come across many different styles and types of clothing, from the freebies to the most expensive, from the cheapest made to the best of appearance and quality. How do you know what's hot in Second Life Fashion?
I have created this website to show you what I have discovered in my travels as to what Fashions are available, what people are wearing, and who is putting their Fashions out there for you to find.

One of the most high regarded jobs in Second Life is Fashion Modeling. Not only do you get to wear some of the hottest clothing in Second Life, the work is pretty fast and easy!
Models are hired for:
- Modeling Designer Creations
- Fashion Shows
- Photographer Portfolios
- Business Promotion Posters
- Calendars
Models are often needed by Second Life Designers to showcase new clothing, jewelry, shoes, and accessories. Photographers may also hire models to pose for shots to display in their Photography Studio. Many times Models are also used to be photographed for calendars and other promotional items for Second Life businesses.
Models must be dependable and responsible, keeping appointments made for photo shoots and Fashion Shows. They must be able to follow directions given, especially during Fashion Shows, although directions are usually fairly simple.
What you need to be a successful model:
- A good range of quality hair (range of color is also a plus)
- A quality skin (different skins with either different shades or the ability to modify also a plus)
One of the best ways to find the hottest fashions fast is to visit a Second Life Fashion Show. You can find these events easily by doing an "Events" search when logged in or from the Second Life website.
Fashion Shows are done using a variety of different Designers, showcasing their best of their clothing lines. You may also find some Designers who host their own Fashion Shows, using only their own designs. Either way, if you find a Designer being showcased in a Fashion Show, you know the clothing your are seeing is on the Up & Coming list in Second Life Fashions.

Our last Fashion Show was held at OC Tucker Art Galerie. This location is beautiful not only in decor, but the whole ambience of the land is exquisite. Tropical plants, beautiful music, and platforms and poseballs for couple dancing make this land the perfect romantic getaway. The Art Galerie also features some beautiful art pieces for sale to make your Second Life home that much more beautiful.
